Memorial 4-H Playground Dedicated June 20 in Bismarck

Bismarck Parks and Recreation District (BPRD) dedicated the Louise & Loren Gobbs and ElRoy Haadem Memorial 4-H Playground at the Joann Hetzel Memorial 4-H Building on Thursday, June 20.

The building and playground are located at the Missouri Valley Complex, 3715 E. Bismarck Expressway. Burleigh County 4-H donated the building to BPRD in early 2021. The indoor space is a popular venue for wedding receptions, nonprofit events and training, along with Burleigh County 4-H and NDSU Extension activities.

The playground installation was supported by funding from Burleigh County 4-H and the Garrison Diversion Conservancy District, along with BPRD.
