Elk Ridge Park – Coming late fall 2020

Elk Ridge Park, located near the Promontory Point area of north Bismarck, 3620 Cogburn Rd., was developed as part of the Neighborhood Park and Open Space Policy. The park will include a playground, parking lot, an open play area, six pickleball courts, a restroom building, a picnic shelter with an accessible picnic table and a 1/3-mile figure eight trail loop.

The fully inclusive playground will have a prairie animal theme. The poured-in-place surface will connect a large climbing structure with a transfer station, a large ramped play structure with sensory components, a sand area with an accessible sand table and accessible seating within and around the play area.

Elk Ridge Park received a grant from the Land and Water Conservation Fund through the ND State Parks and Recreation Department, and a matching grant from the Garrison Diversion Conservancy District.
