Planning for 2026 Events in Parks

Earlier this year, Bismarck Parks and Recreation District launched online reservations for indoor and outdoor park shelters. BPRD’s reservable shelters include five indoor community centers, 48 outdoor picnic shelters, and a stage and amphitheater. Reservations may be made through 2025.

Reservations for 2026 will open online on Thursday, Jan. 9, at 8am. Please note this opening date has changed from past years (previously Oct. 1).

Anyone interested in reserving a space for a graduation party, family reunion or other special event in 2026 is encouraged to either update their existing BPRD account or establish a new account well in advance of the Jan. 9 date. If you have not yet used the online reservation system, please review the Reservation Tips provided on our online account help page.

Those without access to a computer, smartphone or other device or those who prefer to make a shelter reservation in person may visit the BPRD administrative office at 400 E. Front Ave. or call 701-222-6455.

On Jan. 9, staff will handle in-person reservations first and then return voicemail messages in the order they are received. Anyone who can make reservations online is encouraged to do so, as this is the fastest option to reserve space for your event.
