Bismarck Board of Park Commissioners Brief for June 20, 2024
Spencer Aune, recreation specialist with Bismarck Parks and Recreation District (BPRD), provided highlights of the upcoming July Celebration. There are many free events this year, along with many low-cost activities for the community to enjoy. This year’s National Park and Recreation Month theme is “Where You Belong.”
The Board approved a 12.44-acre land donation from Wachter Development Inc. in the Promontory Point VII Addition.
The Board approved the warranty deed for a donation of greenway land from Investcore Inc. in the Silver Ranch Third Addition.
The Board accepted the bid for concessions at the BSC Aquatic & Wellness Center from Epic Nutrition and approved the agreement.
The Board accepted the bid for concessions at Bismarck Municipal Ballpark from Bismarck Baseball Concessions LLC and approved the agreement.
The Board awarded the bid for bunker sand for Riverwood Golf Course to Strata Corporation in the amount of $26,640.
The Board awarded the bid for replacement of the BSC Aquatic & Wellness Center rooftop air conditioner to Lindtech Services Inc. for $45,845.
The Board approved Round 1 Matching Grants as follows:

The Board approved an updated agreement for the sale of advertising and signage at Capital Ice Complex.
The Board recognized outgoing Commissioners Jordan and Odell.
The next regularly scheduled Board meeting is Thursday, July 25, 2024, at 6 p.m. in the Tom Baker Meeting Room. This is a change from the Board’s regular monthly meeting date and time.
