Elks Aquatic Center to Open June 16

Bismarck Parks and Recreation District (BPRD) will open Elks Aquatic Center for the season on Friday, June 16, at noon.

Pool hours at Elks Aquatic Center and Hillside Aquatic Complex are 12-4 p.m. and 4:30-8 p.m. Monday-Thursday and 12-7 p.m. Friday-Sunday. Hours are subject to change throughout the season, so check the schedule on the website or call the facilities prior to visiting.

BSC Aquatic & Wellness Center indoor pools are open for summer hours.

BPRD still has immediate part-time openings for lifeguards and swim instructors. Lifeguards must be age 15 or older, while water safety instructors must be at least 16 years old. Application materials for these positions are available at bisparks.org/jobs.

Anyone interested in training opportunities to become a lifeguard or water safety instructor is encouraged to call Jahna at the BSC Aquatic & Wellness Center at 751-4270 for more information. Free certification will be provided to new lifeguards who work for BPRD.
