Meet Bismarck’s Newest Park

Welcome to the family, Elk Ridge Park.

Elk Ridge Park, 3620 Cogburn Rd. in northwest Bismarck, was created and built using the City of Bismarck’s Neighborhood Parks and Open Space Policy. This policy provides for parks and open spaces within new developments.

Usually, new parks are dedicated and celebrated with an open invitation to the community. Due to the weather and COVID-19 impacts, Bismarck Parks and Recreation District is introducing Elk Ridge Park to the community with the video and fact sheet below.

The park is located near the site of one of Bismarck’s new elementary schools. The addition of Elk Ridge Park brings the total number of parks in Bismarck to 61, and the total number of playgrounds to 53.
