Atkinson Nature Park
This natural wooded area is located just south of the Walt Neuens Horse Arena, 1921 Riverwood Drive. There is a 1.65 mile hiking and horse trail that has interpretive panels. The trail connects users to the existing trail system, too. This park was made possible by a donation of land and funds from the Atkinson family, a grant from the ND Outdoor Heritage Fund, help with parking lot and trail construction from Doosan Bobcat and plantings from Audubon Great Plains.
